I'm and sure you have heard about the recent terrorist attack in Paris. I am writing to let you know that I am okay, and I am in Annecy - far away from 10 Rue Nicolas-Appert, 11th arrondissment of Paris. The two terrorist brothers shot 12 people working at the magazine Charlie Hebdou because the magazine published controversial cartoons of Muhammad. My appartment in Paris is 900 meters away, but you dont need to worry because I am in Annecy.I have mixed feelings about this event. I think the magazine's article was very disrespectful, but on the other hand violence is never the answer and freedom of speech/the press is important to me.
